Job summary

Serial is seeking a Merchandiser Lead based in Jakarta Barat, Indonesia. The ideal candidate will oversee merchandising activities ensuring product availability, effective in-store presentation, and sales strategies align with company goals.

You will develop merchandise plans, forecast demand, manage stock allocation, and guide a team of junior merchandisers.

The role requires strong analytical skills, a Bachelor's degree, and 5+ years of experience in merchandising.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in merchandising, buying, inventory planning, or category management.
• Experience managing people or mentoring junior staff is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop merchandise plans based on sales targets and market analysis.
• Forecast demand for key SKUs across channels.
• Manage weekly stock allocation for all sales channels.
• Monitor stock levels and implement corrective actions.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of junior merchandisers.

Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Strong Excel/Google Sheets

Understanding of retail math and inventory KPIs

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field
