PT BAUER Pratama Indonesia in Indonesia is seeking an experienced mechanical technician to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair of heavy equipment. You will assemble, install, test, and service machinery using hand and power tools, diagnose failures with test equipment, and inspect to ensure safety and codes compliance.

Competenze

• Diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• At least 10 years' experience in the same field with heavy duty equipment (cranes, excavators, drilling rigs).
• Strong mechanical skill and knowledge of mechanical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving ability with initiative.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
• Willing to be assigned at Workshop in Mekarsari, Cileungsi.

Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and or repair to equipment

Assemble, install, test, and maintain equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.

Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct associated problems.

Inspect equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects,and the needs for adjustment or repairs, and to ensure compliance with codes.

Advise the management for any hazardous risk in continued operations of equipment.

Test equipment to ensure compatibility and safety of systems.

Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair equipment

Independently handles moderate to complex equipment repairs.

Orders parts as needed.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent.

Have experiences in the same field for at least 10 (Ten) years. Heavy duty equipment as crane, excavator, drilling rig

Must have strong mechanical skill

Knowledge/experience in mechanical systems.

Excellent problem-solving ability

Creative, insightful, and full of initiative

Ability to work with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Fluent in English both oral and written

Willing to be assigned at Workshop in Mekarsari, Cileungsi

Reliable consistent attendance and the ability to perform overtime as requested.

Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
