Job summary

SANY PERKASA is seeking a Technical Trainer based in Indonesia (Jakarta) to deliver comprehensive training programs for customers and internal technicians. You will lead classroom and hands-on sessions, develop materials, and provide ongoing product support across regions to enhance technical competency.

The role requires a mechanical/electrical engineering background, 4–7 years in heavy equipment training, and willingness to travel domestically to customer sites and company branches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 4–7 years of experience in heavy equipment technical training or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and powertrain systems.
• Hands-on experience with various types of heavy equipment.
• Experience with Top Tier Dealership Company and familiarity with Mining Excavator products preferred.
• Excellent English communication, presentation, and technical training skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting abilities.
• Able to travel domestically frequently.
• Ready for placement in Balikpapan Branch or Jakarta Head Office.

Job description

Develop and conduct classroom and hands‑on training on heavy equipment operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

Prepare and maintain training materials, technical manuals, presentations, and other supporting documentation.

Provide technical guidance and product support to internal teams, dealers, and customers.

Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve training programs based on feedback and operational needs.

Collaborate with engineering, after-sales, and product support teams to ensure training content is aligned with the latest product updates and technical standards.

Support product demonstrations, field evaluations, and other technical events as required.

This position is based in Indonesia (Jakarta) and requires frequent business travel throughout the Customer Site and Company Branches

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

4 – 7 years of experience in heavy equipment technical training or a related technical field.

Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and powertrain systems.

Extensive hands‑on experience with various types of heavy equipment.

Previous experience with Top Tier Dealership Company and familiarity with Mining Excavator products is highly preferred.

Excellent English communication, presentation, and technical training skills.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting abilities.

Willing to travel frequently for domestic business trip.

Ready for placement in Balikpapan Branch or Jakarta Head Office
