Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel/Legal Counsel in Indonesia to support our Grid Technologies business in Asia Pacific. You will review contracts, provide risk-based legal guidance, and shape negotiations across large-scale projects, product areas, service agreements, and energy transmission initiatives.

You will collaborate with teams across Asia Pacific and globally, ensuring legal integrity while enabling progress toward a sustainable energy future.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in a legal department of an international company or law firm.
• Proven ability to manage legal risks in complex transactions.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and international practice.
• Ability to lead strategic contracts and negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Be the trusted advisor and manage legal matters for Grid Technologies deals in APAC.
• Analyze tenders and contracts, provide proactive advice and support negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations.
• Support execution, claim management, and engage external law firms as needed.
• Contribute to standardization and digitalization of contracts and processes.
• Develop and deliver trainings to stakeholders.
