Job summary

ib vogt APAC seeks a Regional Legal Counsel to provide accurate and timely legal guidance across all APAC entities, partners, and stakeholders. The role supports project development from inception to execution and advises on compliance and governance in the APAC region.

The position requires drafting expertise, regional experience, and ability to liaise with external counsel and the Berlin Headquarter to align on strategy and risk management.

Qualifications

• Law degree required (LLB/LLM/JD).
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience in regional or international law firm environments.
• Experience in land/real estate matters including land diligence.
• Excellent drafting skills; experience in Project Development (PPAs, EPCs), M&A and Project Financing.

Responsibilities

• Provide the full range of legal support to our APAC project development activities from early stage through implementation.
• Draft and review joint venture agreements with local development partners.
• Draft and review project-related contracts (e.g., EPC, O&M, PPA).
• Instruct and manage external legal advisors, coordinating with Berlin HQ.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable laws across APAC jurisdictions.
