Job summary

Indosat seeks an in-house contracts lawyer to draft, review and negotiate commercial and technology agreements within a telecom-focused scope. You will support pre- and post-contract activities, implement standard templates, and ensure commercial terms align with legal safeguards across teams.

You will identify legal risks, monitor regulations relevant to telecommunications and AI/cloud, provide practical advice, and escalate material issues to the General Counsel.

Qualifications

• Min. 3–4 years of relevant legal experience in-house or at a law firm.
• Experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial and technology agreements.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian contract and commercial law and regulatory requirements.
• Exposure to telecommunications, AI/cloud, data centre or technology infrastructure is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate agreements, order forms, correspondence and other legal documents for transactions within the assigned scope.
• Support pre-contract and post-contract activities, including contract execution, amendments, renewals, termination and contractual claims.
• Develop and maintain standard contract templates and legal playbooks to improve consistency and efficiency in deal execution.
• Coordinate with business teams to ensure terms reflect commercial arrangements and legal safeguards.
• Identify and assess legal and contractual risks in proposed transactions and recommend mitigation measures.
• Review agreements for compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies.
• Support the incorporation of contractual protections and advise on internal approvals.
• Escalate material risks and deviations to the reporting manager in a timely manner.
• Provide day-to-day legal advice on negotiation, execution, implementation and enforcement of contracts.
• Monitor developments in telecommunications, AI/cloud, technology and commercial activities and assess implications.
• Conduct legal research and prepare clear, practical advice to support business decisions.
