Job summary

Stockbit is seeking a Senior IT Operations Specialist to own the stability of trading systems, manage real-time monitoring, and lead incident response. You will oversee daily operations from pre-market to EOD, coordinate with engineers and vendors, and mentor junior staff to drive process improvements.

You will work with SAS/S21 trading systems, SQL databases, and infrastructure monitoring, ensuring regulatory compliance and strong incident reporting.

Qualifications

• Clear communication skills — able to write SOPs and incident reports.
• Hands-on experience with trading systems and capital markets operations.
• Proficient in SQL (MySQL / SQL Server / PostgreSQL) with query optimization.
• Familiar with capital markets regulatory ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Ensure trading systems and infrastructure are always available and lead production issue responses.
• Manage daily pre-market to EOD operations, including batch jobs and reconciliation.
• Support internal teams with transaction inquiries, user access, troubleshooting, and SQL-based reporting and data validation.
• Support deployments and maintain system access controls, audit logs, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor connectivity with external market infrastructure and coordinate with engineering and vendors to resolve issues.
• Develop and improve SOPs, identify automation opportunities, and mentor junior team members.
