About The Role

We are looking for 2x Senior Documentor/Draftsman to join our boutique team. This role will be pivotal in leading hospitality and other commercial projects from concept to completion, ensuring design integrity and client satisfaction while managing multidisciplinary teams. You will be working under senior designers and ensuring the project deadlines are met.

Head office is based in Sydney Australia and work hours are 9am-5pm AEST Monday to Friday with 1 hour lunch break.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Director and senior designers in the design and documentation of complex interior architectural projects, focusing on hospitality design.

Contribute to the creation of detailed design drawings, specifications and other technical documentation.

Collaborate with the team to ensure project requirements are met and deadlines are achieved.

Stay update to date with the latest industry trends, technologies and building codes.

Actively contribute to the studio’s continuous improvement and innovation initiatives.

Document using BIM Collaboration Pro while following the highest standards.

About You

You are a highly motivated documentor/drafter with a strong portfolio demonstrating detail design and documentation across various sectors.

You love a challenge and are optimistic about driving positive change. You listen, engage and encourage others. You know how to thread creative, commercial, and qualitative excellence across the full lifecycle of the project.

You can organise tasks and self manage time effectively. Implement strategies when tasks take longer than expected. High efficiency and ability to multitask multiple projects at any given time.

Required Skills & Experience

A degree in Interior Design/Architecture with 7+ years of professional experience.

Proficiency in Revit and D5 is a must. Applicants with no Revit experience listed on their CV will not be assessed!

Ability to hand sketch the design and with excellent communication skills.

Experience in hospitality venue design, bonus if you also have experience in commercial kitchen design and very familiar with commercial kitchen equipments.

Also a bonus if you have experience in dealing with Australian building codes, legislation, and compliance.
