Job summary

PT WIK Far East Batam, a German contract designer and manufacturer of home appliances, is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to drive process optimization and productivity enhancements on the Batam line. The role focuses on balancing lines, improving UPH and cycle times, and leading IE projects.

You will lead capacity analyses, support NPI activities from transfer to ramp-up, and coach a team of industrial engineers to strengthen technical capability and project delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering with minimum 8 years of experience, including supervisory or project leadership roles.
Strong knowledge of industrial engineering principles to optimize people, processes, materials, equipment, and workplace resources for productivity and cost effectiveness.
Experience with process simulation, statistics tools, and industry tools (e.g. AutoCAD, 3D software) and work measurement concepts.

Responsibilities

Drive continuous improvement in line efficiency, labor productivity, UPH, cycle time, OEE, utilization, and manufacturing cost.
Lead capacity and manpower analysis based on demand, cycle time, line balance, and operating hours.
Oversee NPI and project support from product transfer to ramp-up and maintain PFMEA and process improvements.
