Job summary

The Senior Industrial Engineer role in Batam focuses on optimizing production through lean methods, capacity analysis, and process improvement to support SpinCo’s digital infrastructure initiatives.
Based in Batam, you will drive line layouts, waste reduction, and throughput enhancement, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements and project timelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years as an industrial or process engineer in manufacturing.
- Experience with new plant buildup or relocation.
Responsibilities
- Measure and maintain product cycle time to improve production efficiency.
- Provide process time estimation to the quote team.
- Simulate processes and layouts using IE tools and software.
- Design production line layouts and set-ups with lean concepts.
- Coordinate takt, cycle time, and direct labor planning for new projects.
- Analyze facility layout, staff utilization, and production data to improve efficiency.
- Plan equipment and manpower to meet customer requirements.
- Drive cost saving and waste reduction initiatives.
- Lead Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma projects to improve throughput and reduce costs.
