Job summary

Wesco is seeking an Import & Customs Operations Staff in Indonesia to support logistics and import activities. The role requires hands-on experience in freight forwarding and strong knowledge of Indonesian import-export regulations and customs procedures.

You will coordinate with PPJK, warehouses, and service providers to ensure smooth customs clearance, timely delivery, and regulatory compliance. The position emphasizes accuracy, documentation, and proactive problem-solving across the supply

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in any discipline.
• Min 5 years in freight forwarding, logistics, import-export, or customs.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian import-export regulations and customs procedures.
• Experience reviewing PIB and other customs documents.
• Excellent coordination with PPJK, warehouses, and authorities.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify import documentation, including PIB and supporting customs documents.
• Coordinate with PPJK, freight forwarders, and customs-related parties for clearance.
• Monitor import/export shipments and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Liaise with warehouses for goods receiving, inventory, and deliveries.
• Ensure all import/export documentation is complete and compliant.
• Follow up on shipment status and resolve operational issues related to logistics and customs clearance.
• Communicate with internal departments and external service providers.
• Maintain records and reports related to import, export, and customs operations.
