Job summary

Wesco is seeking an Import & Customs Operations Staff to support our logistics and import activities. The role focuses on ensuring accurate PIB and related documents, coordinating with PPJK, warehouses, and forwarders for efficient clearance, and maintaining strict regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in freight forwarding or customs, strong English proficiency, and are based in Jakarta with a willingness to adapt to evolving processes and responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in any discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, import-export, or customs.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian import-export regulations and customs procedures.
• Experience reviewing PIB and other customs documents.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Based in Jakarta area with commuting time to the office ≤ 1 hour.
• Strong administrative, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify import documentation, including PIB and supporting customs documents.
• Coordinate with PPJK, freight forwarders, and customs-related parties for clearance.
• Monitor import/export shipments and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Liaise with warehouses on goods receiving, inventory, and deliveries to customers.
• Ensure all import/export documentation is complete and compliant.
• Follow up on shipment status and resolve operational issues.
• Communicate with internal departments and external service providers.
• Maintain records and reports related to import, export, and customs operations.
