Job summary

Wesco is seeking a motivated Import & Customs Operations Staff in Jakarta to support our logistics and import operations. You will review PIB and related documents, coordinate with PPJK, warehouses, and freight forwarders, and ensure compliant and timely customs clearance.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in freight forwarding, logistics, import-export, or customs.
Strong understanding of Indonesian import-export regulations and customs procedures.
Experience reviewing PIB and other customs documents.
Excellent English, written and spoken.
Based in Jakarta with commute no more than 1 hour.

Responsibilities

Review and verify import documentation, including PIB and supporting customs documents.
Coordinate with PPJK, freight forwarders, and customs-related parties for efficient clearance.
Monitor import/export shipments ensuring compliance with Indonesian regulations.
Liaise with warehouses for goods receiving, inventory coordination, and deliveries.
Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Follow up on shipment status and resolve operational issues related to logistics and customs clearance.
Communicate with internal departments and external service providers to support supply chain activities.
Maintain records and reports related to import, export, and customs operations.
