Job summary

PT Global Yimi Cargo (J&T Cargo) is seeking an experienced Export-Import Supervisor in Jakarta to oversee all export and import operations. You will ensure regulatory compliance and coordinate with customs and port authorities to keep shipments on schedule.

You will lead the export-import team, verify critical documents, and prepare routine performance reports while maintaining strong relationships with vendors, agents, and government bodies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Management, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in export-import operations.
• Experience handling custom clearance, customs processes, and port-related issues.
• Strong knowledge of export-import regulations, documentation, and INSW systems.
• Excellent communication and coordination with government institutions and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Supervise export and import processes to ensure smooth operation and regulatory compliance.
• Manage and monitor custom clearance processes and coordination with Customs (Bea Cukai) and related authorities.
• Handle and resolve operational issues at the port with shipping lines, forwarders, and terminal operators.
• Verify export and import documents (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, permits).
• Ensure shipment schedules are met and maintain relationships with vendors, agents, and external partners.
• Lead and supervise the export-import team to achieve operational goals.
• Prepare regular reports and evaluations related to export and import activities for management review.
