Job summary

Aramex Indonesia seeks a skilled Customs Clearance Specialist to manage daily import and export clearance activities, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in customs clearance or logistics, CEISA usage, PIB/PEB knowledge, HS code classification, and strong Excel skills.

Reports to the Operations Manager and supports SOP development, KPI reporting, and liaison with authorities and partners to optimize shipments.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Customs, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in customs clearance, freight forwarding, logistics, or international trade.
• Experience handling import and export customs clearance.
• Good understanding of Indonesian regulations and procedures.
• Proficient with CEISA and customs declaration systems.
• Knowledge of PIB, PEB, HS Code classification, and customs docs.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Good communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily import and export customs clearance activities.
• Prepare, review, and submit customs declarations and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with DJBC, PPJK partners, airlines, and relevant authorities.
• Monitor shipment status and ensure timely customs release.
• Resolve customs-related issues, delays, and discrepancies.
• Ensure accuracy of HS Code classification and duty calculations.
• Maintain complete and accurate customs records.
• Support customs audits and compliance reviews.
• Monitor updates to regulations and communicate impacts.
• Support development and improvement of customs SOPs.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service quality.
• Monitor operational KPIs and prepare reports.
• Provide customs-related guidance to Operations and Customer Service teams.
• Support onboarding and training of new team members.
