Job summary

Johnson Controls Indonesia is hiring a field HVAC technician to perform maintenance, repair, installation and commissioning of HVAC systems for commercial and data center environments. The role emphasizes safety, quality service, and timely troubleshooting to minimize building inefficiencies.

Applicants will have 5+ years in commercial and data center HVAC, strong electrical/mechanical diagnostic skills, and a driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or suitable equivalent.
• min 5+ year commercial and Data Center HVAC experience.
• Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Proficient electrical and mechanical diagnostic skills.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
• Ability to work after hours, over weekends and on public holidays with short or no notice.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic preventative maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, general servicing activities and performing.
• Inspect clients current HVAC systems for effectiveness and safety.
• Diagnosing HVAC systems with electrical and mechanical defects; adjust and repair.
• Travel to customers’ residency in a timely and professional manner.
• Test, commission, and service air conditioning equipment per manuals and best practices.
• Maintain accurate service reports and time sheets.
• Provide recommendations to ensure facility runs efficiently and upsell when appropriate.
• Support training and onboarding of new technicians.
