Job summary

Mubadala Energy in Jakarta seeks a Geology, Geophysical & Modelling Specialist to deliver geomodelling across project maturation and well proposals. You will integrate with subsurface teams to frame models, underpin field development, and support reserves reporting.

The role requires 10+ years of upstream geoscience experience, strong petrophysical, seismic interpretation and uncertainty workflows, and leadership to drive model reviews and stakeholder alignment while maintaining HSE standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in petroleum geoscience or earth sciences.
• 10+ years upstream geoscience experience.
• Experience in integrated subsurface teams and subsurface models.
• Strong reservoir characterization including petrophysical and geostatistical modelling.
• Experience in reserves reporting and business planning.

Responsibilities

• Deliver geomodelling through the project maturation lifecycle.
• Lead model reviews with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with drilling, reservoir engineering and other disciplines.
• Ensure all processes align with HSE standards and regulations.
• Mentor and coach junior staff.
