Position

Our client is seeking an accomplished Water Resources Civil Engineer specializing in stormwater management for projects in Depok. This role focuses on designing and implementing effective solutions for managing rainwater runoff, mitigating flooding, and improving water quality in urban environments. You will be instrumental in developing sustainable drainage systems and contributing to the ecological health of the region. Working with a dedicated team, you will apply your expertise to protect communities and infrastructure from water-related risks, enhancing the environmental resilience of West Java through innovative water management strategies, ensuring sustainable urban development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement stormwater management systems, including detention/retention basins, green infrastructure, and drainage networks.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling and analysis to assess flood risks and water flow patterns for projects in Depok.
• Develop comprehensive plans and specifications for drainage improvements and erosion control measures.
• Ensure compliance with local, regional, and national environmental regulations related to water resources and stormwater discharge.
• Collaborate with urban planners, environmental scientists, and construction teams to integrate water resource solutions into development projects.
• Prepare technical reports, environmental impact assessments, and permit applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, with a specialization in Water Resources or Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in water resources engineering, with a focus on stormwater management and drainage design.
• Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (e.g., HEC-RAS, SWMM) and CAD software.
• Strong knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, and environmental principles related to urban water systems.
