SMEC Services Pty Limited invites a Hydrology Engineer to join our Jakarta team for in-person project work. You will develop procedures for hydrological design, prepare technical reports, and deliver FEL 3 study outputs.

Your role includes monitoring field implementations, auditing designs for safety, and developing long-term drainage and hydrology facilities suitable for regulatory compliance and mine operations.

Qualifications

• Develop procedures for engineering design using hydrological concepts and software.
• Prepare technical reports and drawings for FEL 3 Study.
• Deliver engineering designs considering material characteristics and safety.
• Monitor and audit field implementations to ensure safety compliance.
• Assist in hydrology project monitoring and regulatory alignment.
• Develop long-term drainage plans and sediment management strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop procedures for hydrological design using recognised concepts and software.
• Prepare technical reports and drawings for FEL 3 study.
• Deliver engineering designs based on material characteristics and safety requirements.
• Audit field implementations and halt unsafe operations when necessary for safety.
• Monitor projects (mine effluents and ponds) within hydrology scope.
• Develop 5-year mining plan and long-term hydrology infrastructure parameters.
