Job summary

Grab’s Consumer Experience Engineering team in Jakarta is hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack to power end-to-end user journeys across the app, from login to home experiences. You will build scalable, high-availability systems and leverage AI-assisted tooling to improve quality and efficiency.

You will participate in on-call rotations, drive cross-functional alignment, and help raise engineering standards across the team, reporting to the Engineering Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in building scalable, high-availability fullstack systems.
• Strong knowledge of Go backend development.
• Experience with on-call production incident management.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and optimize scalable, high-availability fullstack services and Go backend systems.
• Leverage and validate AI-assisted tools to build secure, high-quality code and lead plans that boost team efficiency.
• Take end-to-end ownership of product outcomes, drive cross-functional alignment, and manage production incidents during on-call rotations.
