Job summary

PT Merauke Sugar Group is seeking an experienced Asset Manager to oversee and control company assets, ensuring accurate records and smooth tagging, transfers, and disposal. You will coordinate periodic inventories, monitor depreciation, prepare asset reports, and support audits while collaborating across departments and traveling as needed.

As a Bachelor in Accounting with 4–5 years in asset management, you will apply knowledge of depreciation and accounting principles using Accurate Accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• 4–5 years of experience in Asset Management or Fixed Asset Accounting.
• Strong understanding of fixed asset management and depreciation.
• Proficiency in Accurate Accounting Software and Excel.
• Good communication and cross-department coordination.
• Willing to travel for business.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and control company assets, including asset recording, tagging, transfers, and disposal.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of asset records between physical assets and the system.
• Coordinate and supervise periodic asset inventory and stock-taking activities.
• Monitor asset depreciation and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policy.
• Prepare asset reports and perform reconciliations with accounting records.
• Support internal and external audits related to company assets.
• Coordinate with relevant departments regarding asset acquisition, movement, maintenance, and disposal.
• Monitor asset management processes and recommend improvements to enhance asset control and utilization.
