About the role We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Officer to join our team at our Seminyak, Bali location on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position that plays a crucial role in guiding the financial direction and performance of PT. Coastal Grand Villas. You will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, managing accounting functions, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing senior leadership to the finance team. This role reports directly to the Executive Management team and is integral to driving profitability, cash flow management, and sustainable business growth across our property and resort operations.
Key responsibilities Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across the organisation
Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
Prepare comprehensive financial statements, reports, and analysis for senior management and stakeholders
Develop and maintain financial budgets, monitor expenditure against approved budgets, and report variances to management
Establish and maintain effective internal controls and accounting procedures to safeguard company assets
Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations, accounting standards, and statutory requirements
Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
Manage relationships with external auditors, tax consultants, and other financial advisors
Provide strategic financial advice to support business decision-making and corporate planning
Oversee cash flow management, working capital optimisation, and payment processing
Monitor and manage accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
Implement and maintain accounting systems and financial management software
What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional accounting qualification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant / Akuntan Publik Bersertifikat) or CA (Chartered Accountant / Akuntan Terdaftar), or equivalent is highly desirable
Minimum 10+ years of experience in senior financial management roles, preferably within hospitality, property development, or resort management industries
Strong expertise in financial accounting, management accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis
Proven experience in leading and managing accounting teams and mentoring junior staff
In-depth knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations, accounting standards (SAK), and compliance requirements
Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems; experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is beneficial
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Fluency in both Indonesian and English is essential
Experience in hospitality, resort, or property management accounting is preferred
