Job summary

KEMITRAAN – Partnership for Governance Reform in Indonesia is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead the Finance Unit and strengthen financial management, compliance, internal controls, reporting, and financial systems.

You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, donor reporting, audits, treasury, and policies to ensure transparent use of resources and timely information for management.

Requirements include 10+ years in nonprofit finance and professional accounting credentials (CA/CPA/ACCA).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Master's degree preferred in Accounting/Finance or MBA.
• Professional accounting certification CA/CPA/ACCA highly desirable.
• Tax certification Brevet A and B an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance of financial activities, records, reporting, and audits with policies via strong internal controls and financial management systems.
• Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and analyses.
• Serve as focal point for organizational and project finance matters, including reporting and fiduciary/accountability aspects.
• Lead preparation of organizational and project budgets and rolling six-month forecasts.
• Monitor budget implementation, variances, burn rates, funding gaps, and re-phasing options.
• Ensure accuracy of project accounts, payroll, travel claims, entitlements, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Provide guidance to on donor financial compliance and financial policy development.
• Manage treasury and bank operations, including reconciliations and cash-flow forecasting.
• Oversee tax administration and compliance, including computation and payment of taxes.
• Produce monthly management reports and annual statutory financial statements.
• Coordinate audits and follow up on audit recommendations.
• Develop and update financial policies, SOPs, and internal controls including fraud prevention.
