Job summary

PT Puji Lestari PURNAMA seeks a senior Head of Accounting to lead the central accounting team across AP, AR, Tax, and Cost Accounting. You will ensure timely monthly and annual financial statements, manage budgets, and coordinate with branches to maintain standard procedures and reporting formats.

You will also oversee tax obligations, implement internal controls, and act as the main liaison with external auditors and banking partners, presenting reports to the Board for strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Minimum S1 degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Accounting & Finance.
• Minimum 5 years as Manager Accounting or equivalent with team leadership responsibility.
• Proficient in PSAK, accounting principles, and financial reporting systems.
• Deep understanding of VAT, Income Tax, and Corporate Income Tax regulations.
• Proficient in ERP/Accounting Software such as SAP, Oracle, Accurate, or Zahir.
• Advanced Ms. Excel skills including Pivot, Vlookup, and data analysis.
• Experience leading central and branch accounting teams.
• Ability to develop SOPs, internal control systems, and process improvements.
• Experience with internal and external audit processes and financial statement consolidation.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Detail-oriented, meticulous, and high integrity.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for coordination with Board and cross-functional departments.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Tax Brevet A & B certification required
• CPA, CA, or Brevet C certification is an advantage
• English language proficiency (spoken and written) for reporting and communication with foreign principals/auditors is an advantage
• Willing to travel to branches and be based at Head Office in Tangerang

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and develop the central Accounting team covering AP, AR, Tax, and Cost Accounting functions.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements including Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
• Conduct budget variance analysis and provide recommendations to management.
• Manage budget planning, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring.
• Oversee branch accounting functions and ensure uniform application of procedures and reporting formats.
• Consolidate branch financial reports and monitor closing timeliness and tax compliance.
• Ensure company tax obligations are met for VAT, Income Tax, and Corporate Income Tax.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal control systems.
• Act as primary liaison with external auditors, tax consultants, and banking institutions.
• Present financial data and reports to the Board for strategic decision-making.
