Job summary

CTX is seeking a Senior Executive – Finance to strengthen the company’s financial foundation, enforce discipline, and support strategic decision-making for sustainable growth. This role goes beyond numbers and provides leadership with clear insights and controls.

You will partner with operations, sales, and leadership to drive pricing, cost control, and ROI analyses while ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
• Professional qualification (CA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) preferred.
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in finance roles.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, transport, or trading businesses will be a strong advantage.
• Proven budgeting, reporting, and financial controls experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail with a strategic mindset.
• Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
• Hands-on, proactive, and comfortable in a growing business environment.
• Strong integrity, ownership, and accountability.
• Knowledge of customs regulations and international trade compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day finance operations including accounting, AP/AR, payroll, and cash flow management
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual)
• Track financial performance against business plans and highlight risks and opportunities
• Provide actionable insights to support pricing, cost control, and profitability
• Monitor and manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital requirements
• Optimize collections, credit control, and payment cycles — critical in logistics operations
• Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, audit, and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and external stakeholders
• Maintain accurate documentation and financial records
• Work closely with operations, sales, and leadership teams to support commercial decisions
• Support management with financial models, cost structures, and ROI analysis
• Support implementation or optimization of accounting / ERP systems as CTX grows
