PT Langit Metal Industry is seeking an ESG professional to help establish and improve the company's ESG management system in Indonesia, aligning with Indonesian regulations and international financing standards.
The role coordinates environmental and social due diligence, collaborates with design, engineering, HSE, legal, and external advisors, and monitors compliance across environmental, labor, and governance areas.
Assist in establishing and improving an ESG management system that complies with Indonesian regulations and the requirements of international financing institutions;
Responsible for coordinating environmental and social due diligence (ESIA, ESDD, etc.) and tracking the implementation of corrective measures;
Collaborate with design, engineering, HSE, legal, and external advisory teams to advance the development of ESG-related policies and systems;
Monitor the project's compliance with environmental protection, labor management, community relations, and corporate governance;
Assist financing institutions, auditing agencies, and third-party consultants in conducting ESG due diligence and on-site reviews;
Monitor the implementation of international standards such as the Equator Principles (EP) and IFC Performance Standards in projects;
Responsible for ESG-related data collection, report preparation, and continuous improvement efforts;
Assist in managing community communication, grievance mechanisms, and stakeholder engagement at the project site;
Assist in promoting the implementation of the Group's ESG strategy in Indonesia projects.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, Law, Public Administration, Sustainable Development, or related majors;
3+ years of experience in ESG, environmental compliance, EHS, sustainability, or project management;
Priority will be given to candidates familiar with international ESG standards such as ESIA, ESDD, IFC PS, and the Equator Principles;
Excellent communication in Indonesian or English;
Possess excellent cross-departmental coordination and project advancement capabilities;
Priority will be given to candidates with experience in mining, smelting, new energy, power, or industrial park projects
