Job Description

• Develop and implement a robust HSE strategy aligned with global corporate standards and local regulatory requirements.
• Establish, maintain, and continuously improve HSE management systems, policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
• Drive a strong safety culture through leadership engagement, training initiatives, and behavioural-based safety programs.
• Ensure compliance with Indonesian HSE regulations, industry standards, and company requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement effective control measures across laboratories, inspection activities, field operations, warehouses, and client sites.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Manage internal audits, regulatory inspections, and certification processes including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
• Develop HSE performance metrics, reporting frameworks, and management dashboards to track performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Partner closely with operational leaders to ensure consistent implementation of HSE standards across all locations.
• Oversee contractor safety management and ensure adherence to company HSE requirements.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness, crisis management planning, and emergency response drills.
• Act as the primary liaison with government authorities, regulators, and external stakeholders on HSE-related matters.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Mining Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of HSE experience within mining, minerals, laboratories, inspection services, industrial services, logistics, oil & gas, or related sectors.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an HSE leadership or managerial role.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing HSE management systems across multiple operational sites.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian HSE regulations and compliance requirements.
• Experience managing ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Certified AK3 Umum is highly preferred.
• Additional certifications such as NEBOSH, SMK3 Auditor, ISO Lead Auditor, or IOSH will be advantageous.
• Demonstrated experience leading incident investigations, risk assessments, audits, and compliance programs.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to drive change across operational teams.
• Fluent communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
