Job summary

KPMG is seeking a seasoned ESG advisory professional to join the ESG team, driving climate risk, biodiversity, and sustainability reporting initiatives across client engagements.

You will work with global centers of excellence to deliver end-to-end ESG services, including risk analysis, scenario planning, and stakeholder communications, while helping clients adapt to evolving standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in ESG reporting, ESG risk analysis, sustainability consulting, financial accounting, or related fields, preferably with a specialization in climate change and/or biodiversity.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (Accountancy, Environmental Science, Sustainability, Finance, or Economics).
• Professional certifications related to accounting, sustainability and ESG (e.g., ISCA/ICAEW/ACCA/CPA, CFA, CSR-P) and familiarity with ESG reporting frameworks (ISSB, TCFD, TNFD, GRI, CDP, SASB) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Position KPMG as a leading firm for ESG reporting and risk analysis services in collaboration with Global/Regional ESG Centres of Excellence and cross-functional teams.
• Support business development activities including proposals and thought leadership.
• Manage oversight and delivery of ESG reporting services including risk assessments, data analysis, and reporting communications.
• Coordinate and lead TCFD reporting and climate-related disclosures with relevant departments.
• Stay abreast of TNFD recommendations and biodiversity risk discussions; develop strategies to address biodiversity risks.
• Conduct scenario analysis and quantitative risk assessments for climate and biodiversity factors.
• Draft and conduct training sessions on ESG reporting, climate risk, and biodiversity risk.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders; ensure high-quality service and risk management.
