Job summary

Eaton is seeking a Lead Design Engineer to steer multiple large-scale projects with global teams, performing failure analyses and coordinating cross-functional work to meet objectives.

The role requires strong CAD skills (CATIA preferred), experience with PDM systems, and robust knowledge of stress analysis, GD&T, and electromechanical design. Candidates should excel in English communication and documentation control.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD and solid modeling.
• Experience in CATIA (primary) or Pro-E as alternative.
• Experience in PDM environments such as Enovia/MatrixOne or Pro Intralink.
• Proficiency in stress analysis tools: ANSYS and fatigue analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple large-scale projects with global teams.
• Perform failure analysis and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.
• Prepare and review documents including cost estimates, schedules, design specs, manuals and technical reports.
• Deliver designs considering risk, trade-offs, and component interactions.
• Collaborate with Quality, Production, and Purchasing to meet project goals.
• Communicate effectively in English with customers and vendors.
