Job summary

PT.China State Construction Overseas Development Shanghai is searching for an experienced electrical design lead to supervise project electrical design production and manage scope, quality and cost on major infrastructure projects in Indonesia. You will review contract documents, coordinate with design consultants and contractors, and ensure water supply and drainage design meets international standards.

• More than 5 years experience in electrical engineering design.
• Experience in large-scale project design and ability to independently organize electrical design work.
• Familiar with international electrical design standards (BS and US standards).
• Proficient in electrical design software (Dialux, ETAP, AutoCAD) and BIM (Revit).
• Good command of English and ability to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical design production, controlling scope, requirements, progress, quality and cost.
• Manage electrical design across all project stages, including reviewing contract design documents and coordinating with consultants and contractors.
• Coordinate water supply and drainage design management focusing on progress, cost, quality and risk.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing contract signing documents for electrical design aspects.
• Participate in design coordination, reviews and on-site coordination meetings; perform other electrical duties as needed.

Job description

Fully responsible for the company's project electrical design production work, and controlling the design work from the aspects of design scope, requirements, progress, quality and cost.

Fully responsible for the electrical engineering design management work at all stages of the companys projects, including but not limited to reviewing and revising contract design documents, coordinating with design consultants, project supervisors, project general contractors and others relevant parties. Controlling the water supply and drainage design management of the project from the perspectives of progress, cost, quality and risk.

Assist in the preparation, review and performance of company project design contract signing documents and be responsible for the electrical design-related aspects of the contract.

Participate in design coordination, disclosure meetings, expert reviews and on-site coordination meetings related to the electrical discipline also, addition to the above mentioned main items, perform other work required for electrical designers to fulfill their duties according to industry practices.

Job Specification :

• More than 5 years experience in Electric engineering design firm/company, with more than 2 large-scale project design experiences and the ability to independently organize electrical design work for medium-sized and large-sale projects.
• Familiar with international electrical design specification such as British Standard and America Standard. Able to complete water supply and drainage design work at all stages according to the standard.
• Have a strong ability to review electrical design drawings, calculations, materials and SPEC (Technical Specification) and able to identify problems in the design and propose optimization solutions.
• Proficient in electrical design software such as Dialux, Electrical Power System software (ETAP etc.), AutoCAD, and related office software; Proficient in BIM modelling software such as Revit. Able to independently handle technical issues on the construction site of electrical discipline.
• Understand and communicate well using English language.
