Job summary

DAMAC Digital is seeking a Data Centre Electrical Manager (Operations) to lead the operation, maintenance, and reliability of critical electrical infrastructure in our data centre environments. You will own power availability, oversee EPMS/SCADA systems, and drive improvements across DCIM/CMMS platforms.

With 8–10 years in electrical operations, you will manage UPS, generators, switchgear, and batteries, while ensuring safety, compliance, and operational excellence in a global, mission-critical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 8–10 years in electrical operations or critical facilities management.
• Experience in data centres or mission-critical environments.
• Experience leading technical teams and managing operations.
• Experience with MV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear, protection, and power monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety regulations and compliance.
• Familiarity with DCIM, EPMS, BMS, SCADA, CMMS or similar platforms.
• Project, vendor, and stakeholder management skills.
• Budgeting, cost management, and resource planning skills.
• Excellent communication and decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Own critical power availability, switching governance, isolation plans, electrical risk control, and resilience of live electrical infrastructure.
• Operate and improve EPMS / SCADA / metering architecture with DCIM/CMMS integration.
• Maintain accurate single-line diagrams, as-builts, procedures, test records, and asset criticality.
• Lead preventive and predictive maintenance for UPS, generators, switchgear, and batteries.
• Ensure work is executed under PTW, LOTO, switching procedures, and customer impact controls.
• Support capacity planning, tenant power provisioning, breaker coordination, and energy analysis.
• Lead root cause analysis for electrical incidents and close corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with codes and standards for critical power environments.
• Maintain 24x7 operational accountability in a mission-critical, customer-facing environment.
• Participate in incident response, escalation, audits, and emergency exercises.
