Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Ltd. in Batam is seeking a Senior Manager, Electrical to lead regional electrical operations for our Southeast Asia portfolio. You will drive standards, oversee HV/MV/LV distribution, and guide site teams to ensure data center availability.

The role requires a Bachelor's in electrical/Power engineering and 8–12 years of experience with complete electrical infrastructure lifecycles, protection systems, and reliability strategies. Occasional travel across SEA is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 8–12 years in electrical engineering, facilities operations, or critical infrastructure.
• Experience as a Technical Subject Matter Expert for complete electrical lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of MV/LV distribution and protection relays.

Responsibilities

• Provide regional electrical leadership and governance across SEA data center ops.
• Oversee operation, maintenance, and lifecycle of critical electrical infrastructure.
• Act as regional SME and escalation point for complex electrical issues.
• Drive reliability via preventive, predictive maintenance and RCA.
• Develop and enforce operational and maintenance standards.
• Support commissioning and handover from project delivery.
• Ensure electrical safety and regulatory compliance.
• Identify opportunities to improve power efficiency and PUE.
• Coordinate with OEMs, service providers, and contractors.
• Coach site teams and build regional capability.
