Job summary

PT XLSMART Telecom Sejahtera Tbk seeks a senior data scientist to own the end-to-end science practice for customer analytics, retention and revenue growth in a permanent role. You will lead production ML systems, implement causal inference, and guide governance across squads to improve ARPU.

Responsibilities include designing scalable ML models from data engineering through production, building agentic AI-enabled scoring, and presenting strategic insights to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• S1 in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or Engineering.
• S2/Master's degree in a quantitative field preferred.
• Minimum 7–10 years of hands‑on experience in Data Science, Customer Analytics, or AI/ML roles; including at least 3 years as a principal scientist or lead practitioner owning production ML systems.
• Certified Data Scientist (CDS), Google Professional Machine Learning Engineer, AWS Certified Machine Learning — Specialty, or equivalent advanced ML certification.

Responsibilities

• Design and own end-to-end ML models for churn prediction, revenue graduation, and customer lifetime value from feature engineering through production deployment and monitoring.
• Lead causal inference and A/B experimentation frameworks; enforce statistical rigour across experiments and interventions.
• Build advanced strategic intelligence models: market dynamics, competitive signal detection, pricing elasticity, and network quality impact on churn.
• Deploy agentic AI systems with real-time ML scoring, bandit-based optimisation, and self-learning decisioning pipelines.
• Own the feature store and model registry; ensure quality, reproducibility, versioning, and governance of outputs.
• Translate model outputs into commercial briefs for senior stakeholders and act as scientific authority on outbound findings.
• Lead data discovery sprints to identify data gaps; present findings at weekly reviews.
• Drive platform migration workstreams (MLOps, data engineering, cloud ML infra) alongside commercial tasks.
• Mentor squad analysts in causal inference, graph ML, reinforcement learning, and LLM-assisted analytics.
