Job summary

Leighton Asia is seeking an experienced planning professional to develop detailed works plans for tenders and after-award project programs. The role requires strong on-site experience in civil construction and the ability to generate accurate progress reporting and KPI tracking.

Key duties include creating as-built analyses to support extension of time claims, enforcing HSE standards, and sharing knowledge for team development.

Qualifications

• Diploma in civil / structural engineering, or related disciplines.
• 5+ years' experience in civil/construction.
• Extensive on-site experience performing general planning role on construction, road or civil projects.
• In-depth understanding of construction methodology covering building and civil infrastructure.
• Working experience in civil contractor is preferred.
• Basic skills on MS-Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• To produce detailed planning of works to be carried out to support a submission to a client on a tender in order to ensure works are carried out in a timely manner and in line with client requirements.
• To develop project program after award of contract and provide support to the Project team in order to ensure accurate program and reporting of works.
• To assist in providing KPI and tracking information required for periodic reports to monitor variances from planned productivities and targets.
• To develop accurate as-built plans and undertake analysis to substantiate extension of time claims if deemed necessary.
• To enforce safe and environmentally friendly working procedures to ensure safety record and compliance with HSE requirements.
• To perform knowledge sharing to enhance professional development within the organization
