Zurich 56 Company Ltd is seeking a Commercial Property Underwriter in Indonesia to evaluate, analyze, and underwrite commercial property insurance risks while ensuring adherence to underwriting guidelines and portfolio profitability.

The role involves assessing risk exposures, determining pricing and coverage terms, and providing technical underwriting guidance to brokers, agents, and clients to deliver appropriate insurance solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Property Underwriting, Commercial Underwriting, or a similar insurance role.
• Strong understanding of commercial property insurance principles and underwriting practices.
• Knowledge of risk assessment, pricing methodologies, and reinsurance concepts.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess commercial property insurance submissions, including office buildings, shopping centers, hotels, manufacturing facilities, warehouses, and other commercial properties.
• Analyze risk exposures based on factors such as location, construction type, occupancy, insured values, loss history, and risk controls.
• Determine appropriate pricing, coverage terms, conditions, deductibles, and policy limits.
• Review risk survey reports and provide recommendations for risk mitigation measures.
• Make sound underwriting decisions within delegated authority limits.
• Collaborate with brokers, agents, sales teams, and clients to assess insurance needs and provide underwriting support.
• Deliver technical underwriting guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
