Job summary

MatchaTalent invites a Lead Civil Engineer to join an Indonesian architectural and engineering consultancy based in Jakarta. You will lead civil and structural design from concept to IFC, ensuring compliance with SNI, seismic/wind loads, and coordination with architectural and MEP teams.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of hands-on civil/structural design experience, STRI and SKA 8, and proven leadership to mentor junior engineers while managing multi-disciplinary projects under a hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• STRI registration is mandatory.
• SKA/SKK Level 8 (Ahli Madya) in Civil or Structural Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on civil or structural engineering design experience.
• Experience as Engineer-in-Charge or equivalent technical lead.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil and structural design activities across projects.
• Perform, review, and approve structural analysis and foundation design.
• Lead projects from conceptual design to IFC documentation.
• Coordinate with architectural and MEP teams for integration.
• Review shop drawings, bar bending schedules, and RFIs for alignment.
• Provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and authorities on technical matters.
• Identify risks and optimize structural solutions.
