Job summary

MatchaTalent represents an established Indonesian architectural and engineering consultancy seeking a Lead Civil Engineer to steer civil and structural design on industrial, commercial, and development projects. You will oversee technical calculations, IFC documentation, and coordinate with architectural and MEP teams to ensure compliance with SNI and seismic requirements.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on experience with ETABS, SAP2000, and AutoCAD, plus familiarity with BIM/Revit.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Valid STRI registration is mandatory.
Valid SKA/SKK Level 8 (Ahli Madya) in Civil or Structural Engineering is mandatory.
Minimum 7 years of hands-on civil/structural design experience, including industrial projects.
Experience in architectural or engineering consultancies and IFC documentation is required.
Proficiency in ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, or STAAD.Pro and AutoCAD is mandatory.
Professional English proficiency for technical documentation.

Responsibilities

Lead civil and structural design activities for industrial, commercial, and development projects.
Review and approve structural analysis, foundation design, and reinforcing detailing.
Coordinate with architectural and MEP teams for structural integration and IFC packages.
Ensure designs comply with Indonesian National Standards (SNI) and seismic/wind requirements.
Review shop drawings, RFIs, and material submittals for alignment with designs.
Provide mentoring to junior engineers and oversee technical quality assurance.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and authorities for approvals and design revisions.
