Job summary

Grab is seeking a Manager, Category Management to drive category selection, assortment strategy, product sourcing and supplier management across regional markets. Based onsite at our office, you will partner with cross-functional teams to optimize category performance and profitability.

You will lead with data-driven insights, refine pricing and promotions, and collaborate on regional supplier agreements to broaden the assortment and meet diverse customer needs.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8+ years of experience in category management, merchandising, or procurement (in eCommerce, retail, or FMCG).
• Strong background in assortment planning, pricing & promotions, supplier funding, and retail media monetization.
• Proven track record in managing and negotiating with suppliers.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience applying AI-driven insights to category strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop category strategy and quarterly/annual plans aligned with business priorities.
• Monitor market trends and consumer insights to refine positioning.
• Set KPIs for category performance (GMV, margin, fill rates) and take corrective actions.
• Define pricing and promotion frameworks with Strategy & Growth to drive top-line and profitability.
• Lead category reviews with stakeholders across supply chain, marketing, product, and finance.
