Job summary

Kredivo Group in Jakarta, Indonesia is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join our R&D center. You will design and implement backend services, build scalable microservices, and leverage open source frameworks and cloud infrastructure.

You will collaborate with Product, Business and other stakeholders, own parts of the system, and apply performance monitoring and CS fundamentals to deliver reliable, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
• Minimum mentoring junior engineers for 2 years.
• Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms and CS fundamentals.
• Strong foundation in Python and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven programming.
• Proficient in Linux environments.
• Experience with IAAS/SAAS/PAAS in AWS environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services.
• Work with Product, Business and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Write high quality, maintainable code and modernize tech-stack.
• Own parts of the system and continuously improve it based on monitoring best practices.
• Participate in design discussions, reviews and propose/implement solutions to technical problems.
