Agoda Company Pte. Ltd. is seeking an accomplished Backend Engineer to lead scalable backend systems. You will own substantial parts of Agoda’s backend architecture and collaborate across teams to enhance service quality, performance, and reliability.

The role requires 10+ years in software engineering, proficiency in Kotlin/Scala/Java, and a proven ability to drive complex projects with impact. Bangkok-based role with relocation support and a focus on CI/CD and scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on ownership of production services with impact on design and deployment.
• Strong programming skills in Kotlin, Scala, Java, and C#.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain technical details to stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Architecting and developing highly scalable back end systems.
• Own a major portion of Agoda's backend across the architecture.
• Collaborate across teams on large projects to improve services and code quality.
