Samara Lombok is seeking an experienced Architect to support site delivery of hospitality projects on Lombok, translating design intent into buildable, well-documented solutions and coordinating with consultants and site teams.
You will review drawings and specifications, ensure cross-disciplinary coordination, identify constructability issues, respond to RFIs, conduct site inspections, and support handover and close-out while maintaining quality and design intent.
The Architect will support the site delivery of Samara Lombok projects, translating design intent into coordinated, buildable and well-documented solutions. The role requires strong technical drawing capability, design sensitivity, attention to detail and the confidence to coordinate with consultants, contractors and site teams.
Review architectural drawings, details, schedules and specifications to a high technical standard.
Ensure design packages are coordinated with structural, civil, MEP, landscape, interior and other consultant information.
Review consultant and contractor drawings, shop drawings, material submissions and samples for compliance with design intent and specification.
Identify design clashes, missing information and constructability issues before they create site delays or rework.
Respond to RFIs and technical queries with clear, timely and well-documented design solutions.
Conduct regular site inspections to verify that architectural works are being executed in accordance with approved drawings and quality expectations.
Coordinate mock-ups, samples, finishes and key architectural details with contractors and internal stakeholders.
Support value engineering while protecting the functional and aesthetic intent of the project.
Coordinate design changes with the project team and assess downstream implications for programme, cost and other disciplines.
Participate in design and site coordination meetings and close assigned actions promptly.
Support handover, snagging and close-out of architectural works.
Bachelor's degree in Architecture from a recognised institution.
Minimum 8 years of professional architectural experience, including construction-stage coordination.
Strong capability in architectural documentation, detailing and drawing review.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; working knowledge of Revit/BIM and SketchUp or similar tools is highly desirable.
Good understanding of construction methods, materials, finishes and architectural interfaces.
Ability to read and coordinate multidisciplinary technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and disciplined document/revision control.
Practical problem-solving mindset and ability to work effectively under project deadlines.
Working proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
Willingness to be based in Lombok and attend project sites regularly.
Experience on hospitality, resort, villa, residential or mixed-use developments.
Previous experience working for a developer, design consultant or design-and-build contractor.
Understanding of Indonesian building regulations, permitting and local construction practices.
