Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience (Node.js, Python, or similar backend ecosystems).
• Hands-on experience building context-aware chatbots, RAG pipelines, or LLM-driven applications.
• Direct experience with the Meta/WhatsApp Business API (or middleware like Twilio/360dialog) and Webhooks.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production-ready AI chatbots utilizing modern LLMs, NLP frameworks, and custom logic.
• Own the end-to-end integration of conversational flows with WhatsApp Business API, CRM systems, and internal databases.
• Conduct peer code reviews, maintain robust documentation, and assist with smooth knowledge transfer across the codebase.
• Patiently support and advise mid-level/junior developers, sharing best practices without requiring formal management authority.

We are seeking a patient, hands-on Senior AI Engineer to own and build our conversational AI systems. You will drive the development of intelligent chatbot flows, manage messaging integrations (specifically WhatsApp Business API), and ensure our architecture is reliable and scalable. This role requires deep technical proficiency combined with a collaborative, patient mindset—someone who takes pride in clean code, clear documentation, and helping team members grow through peer support rather than top-down management.

Key responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain production-ready AI chatbots utilizing modern LLMs, NLP frameworks, and custom logic

About you
