Job summary

PT PELITA HARAPAN TEKNOLOGI is seeking a Full-Stack AI Engineer with a strong backend focus to design and develop the infrastructure powering AI employees used by North American real estate agents. You will architect backend systems, service integrations, and robust production-grade features for AI agent orchestration and tool use.

The role requires 3+ years of production backend experience, proficiency in Node.js or Python, PostgreSQL, and experience deploying LLM/AI agents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional backend engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js or Python and backend architectures.
• Experience with asynchronous programming and task queues.
• Experience with cloud deployment and production systems.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Experience deploying LLM/AI agents used by real users.
• Understanding of AI agent concepts: tool use, memory, state management, and error handling.
• Experience using Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or similar AI-assisted tools.
• Good written and spoken English.

About the Company

We are building a digital employee team for North American real estate agents.

Our AI-powered digital employees operate through WhatsApp and are designed to perform real operational tasks, including tracking transaction deadlines, managing follow-ups, drafting property listings and social media content, and supporting administrative workflows.

We are looking for a Full-Stack AI Engineer with a strong backend focus to help design and develop the infrastructure powering these AI employees.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain backend systems supporting AI agent orchestration, tool execution, task queues, scheduling, memory, and state management.

Build and maintain integrations with WhatsApp, calendars, email, MLS, and real estate transaction systems.

Develop reliable production systems with appropriate idempotency, retry mechanisms, observability, and evaluation processes.

Develop user-facing features and interfaces when required.

Build and maintain LLM-based agents capable of handling real-world user interactions.

Implement tool use, memory, state management, error handling, and other components required for reliable AI agents.

Collaborate with the team to identify technical issues and continuously improve system reliability and performance.

Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor to improve development efficiency and output.

Requirements:
