Hangry is seeking a Senior Accounting Associate to support accurate financial reporting and maintain day-to-day accounting operations. You will manage records, review journal entries, and help ensure compliance with PSAK, tax regulations, and internal controls.

You’ll collaborate with AR, AP, tax, and other finance teams, assist in month-end and year-end closings, prepare financial reports, and participate in audits. A bachelor’s degree and 2+ years’ experience are required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong understanding of PSAK, accounting principles, and Indonesian tax regulations.
• Familiar with journal entries, reconciliations, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Excel or Sheets; ERP experience preferred.
• Good communication and cross-team collaboration.
• Well-organized with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

We’re looking for a Senior Accounting Associate to support accurate financial reporting and ensure smooth day-to-day accounting operations. In this role, you’ll handle key accounting activities, work closely with other Finance teams, and help maintain strong financial controls and compliance across the business.

What You’ll Do

• Manage daily accounting activities and maintain accurate, complete financial records.
• Review journal entries and supporting documents to ensure proper account classification and accuracy.
• Support month-end and year-end closing, including reconciliation and financial data validation.
• Assist in preparing accurate and timely financial reports in accordance with company and accounting standards.
• Coordinate with Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Cost Control, Tax, and other teams to verify revenue and expense transactions.
• Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies by working with relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure accounting activities comply with PSAK, tax regulations, internal policies, and financial procedures.
• Support audit requirements by preparing schedules, supporting documents, and other financial information.
• Stay updated on accounting standards and support improvements to accounting processes and internal controls.
• Support other accounting-related projects and initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting or Finance, preferably in financial reporting or general accounting.
• Strong understanding of PSAK, general accounting principles, and Indonesian tax regulations.
• Familiar with journal entries, account reconciliation, month-end closing, and financial reporting.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; experience with ERP or accounting systems is preferred.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, especially when working across different teams.
• Well-organized and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
