Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the daily activities of accounting and finance team members, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts, bank reconciliations, and subsidiary ledgers on a regular basis
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and collections
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions in the accounting system
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including variance analysis and month-end closing procedures
• Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors to support audit activities and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain and update accounting policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance
• Assist in budget preparation and monitoring actual results against budgeted forecasts
• Identify process improvements and implement efficiency measures within the finance function

About the role

We are seeking a Finance & Accounting Supervisor to join our growing finance team in North Jakarta. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and efficiency of our financial operations. As Finance & Accounting Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, managing a team of accounting staff, and ensuring that all financial reporting meets the highest standards of accuracy and regulatory compliance. This position is integral to supporting the strategic financial objectives of the organization and maintaining robust financial controls across all business operations.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and manage the daily activities of accounting and finance team members, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback

What we're looking for

A recognized accounting qualification (such as a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, or professional certification such as ACCA, ACA, or equivalent)

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting roles, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team leadership capacity

Strong proficiency in accounting principles, practices, and standards applicable to Indonesian or international financial reporting

Excellent knowledge of accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

Demonstrated ability to prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial analysis tools

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members at all levels

Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all financial documentation

Knowledge of tax compliance and statutory financial reporting requirements in Indonesia is highly desirable

Fluency in English and Indonesian, both written and verbal, is required
