Job summary

Travelio is an online short to medium term home rental operator based in Indonesia. We seek an experienced accounting professional to manage month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and leadership of a small team from our office in South Jakarta.

The role requires a Bachelor degree in Accounting, 3 years in accounting/audit, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with accounting systems. Brevet A/B is a plus; office-based work is required at Haji Nawi.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting with GPA ≥ 3.00 from a reputable university.
• 3 years of relevant experience in Accounting or Audit (Big Corp or startup preferred).
• Strong analytical and logical skills to solve problems and reconcile numbers.
• Excellent analytical skills and detail orientation.
• Familiarity with accounting systems; leadership experience a plus.
• Brevet A & B is a plus; willing to work from office in South Jakarta.

Responsibilities

• Support timely month-end and year-end closing with journal entries.
• Involve in ad hoc revenue-related tasks and disclosures.
• Prepare reconciliations for revenue and cost; revenue/cost journal entries and analysis.
• Support bank reconciliations and daily journal entries.
• Maintain AR/AP aging listings and related reporting.

Job description

Support timely & accurate month-end and year-end closing, including journal entries.

Involve in ad hoc regarding revenue section.

Perform the monthly close tasks associated with revenue and cost; preparation of various reconciliations, revenue and cost journal entries and cost revenue related analysis.

Support the completion of all revenue and cost related disclosures in the financial statements.

Responsible for bank reconciliation (money in and out), including daily journal entries.

Maintain AR AP Aging listing.

Requirements:

Bachelor Degree in Accounting with a minimum GPA of 3.00 (on a scale of 4.00) from reputable university.

3 years relevant working experience in Accounting or Audit (preferably in Big Corporation or Start-up Company).

Have a strong analytical and logical skill in solving problem and reconciling numbers and account.

Excellent analytical skill & detail oriented.

Familiar with Accounting System experience preferred.

Experience in managing the team/ become a team leader.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Have Brevet A & B is a plus.

Willing to full Work From Office (Haji Nawi, South Jakarta).
