Job summary

8x8 Asia is seeking a Finance & Accounting professional in Indonesia to manage NetSuite bookkeeping, journal entries, and monthly close processes. You will monitor intergroup billing, ensure accurate chart of accounts allocations, and support statutory and SOX compliance with internal teams and external auditors.

The role requires 4–6 years of accounting experience, strong English communication, and proficiency in NetSuite and MS Office.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience; audit background is a plus.
• Proficient with NetSuite and MS Office; data-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Create and monitor all Business Partners in NetSuite.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments and revaluations.
• Own the close checklist and meet monthly close deadlines.
• Review P&L and balance sheet, explain MoM/QoQ variances.
• Coordinate with regional team on cash flow and payments.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and fixed asset roll-forward.

Main Responsibilities:

• Create and monitor all Business Partners in the NetSuite system.
• Prepare, resolve & reconcile intergroup billing issues.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and revaluation entries.
  Own the close checklist and meet close deadlines.
• Review the P&L and balance sheet for reasonableness, and explain MoM and QoQ variance movements before submission.
• Ensure all entries are allocated correctly to the chart of accounts and cost centre.
• Prepare weekly and monthly cash position on time.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation & revaluation report for approval.
• Prepare monthly closing such as APAC trial balance, commentary analysis, data of IG TP cost-plus report, and all related financial and SOX reports package for the month-end closing date.
• Maintain accurate fixed asset records, including depreciation, and prepare, reconcile, and submit the fixed assets roll-forward report on time.
• Maintain a proper document control system, such as raising system change request form if needed.
• Meet financial accounting objectives such as the coordination and completion of annual audits.
• Coordinate with Regional team on monthly payment plan and cash flow forecast.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, bankers, or other external consultants.
• Any ad hoc assignment.

Statutory and SOX Compliance:

• To provide support documents or any information related to tax matters to Team Tax for submission.
• Prepare data for group audit and statutory audit.
• Prepare SOX reports as per calendar schedule.
• Provide SOX sampling requests as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, ACCA or equivalent.
• Must have 4–6 years of relevant working experience in a similar position; an audit and commercial background is an advantage.
• Able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines and pressure.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with colleagues across divisions.
• Proficiency in NetSuite and MS Office applications (Word, Excel).
• Well organized, strong analytical thinking, data-oriented, proactive, and able to
