Job summary

8x8 is looking for an experienced accounting professional to join its finance team. The role involves managing NetSuite data, month-end close, intercompany billing, and ensuring accuracy of P&L and balance sheet, with strong focus on SOX compliance and audits.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance (or ACCA) with 4–6 years of relevant experience, excellent English communication, and the ability to work under tight deadlines across regional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or ACCA or equivalent.
• 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience; audit background is a plus.
• Proficient in NetSuite and MS Office applications.
• Good command of written and spoken English; strong interpersonal skills.
• Well organized with strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create and monitor all Business Partners in NetSuite.
• Prepare, resolve and reconcile intergroup billing issues.
• Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and revaluations; own the close checklist.
• Review P&L and balance sheet movements; explain MoM and QoQ variances.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and other external parties.
• Prepare monthly closing packages including APAC trial balance and SOX reports.
• Ad hoc assignments as required.
