Job summary

P.I. Works is seeking a seasoned 5G ZTE Engineer to join our team in a flexible work arrangement (remote or onsite).

You will lead network optimization, audits, and strategy support for NR, LTE, and 5G deployments, focusing on performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in radio planning and at least 3 years with 5G ZTE, plus hands-on experience with NetNumen, UME, NetMax and NGI.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in radio planning & optimization.
Minimum 3 years of experience on 5G ZTE and 5 years of 4G.
Hands-on ZTE vendor algorithms & tools (NetNumen, UME, NetMax, NGI).
Ability to analyze KPIs and drive test logs for optimization.
Familiar with radio planning/optimization tools and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

Perform network optimization and network audit to meet customer requirements.
Provide 5G deployment and optimization strategy support (NR/SA, spectrum, site densification, network sharing).
Execute audit and optimization of services; accountable for part of the solution and service process.
Keep time, performance and quality per contracts.
Provide optimization solutions for NR & LTE and collaborate with operators to implement.
Design and plan wireless sites for network with simulation tools (added advantage).
Conduct new feature testing, technical discussions, and integration troubleshooting.
