Job summary

PT Bali General Supply Bali is seeking a Pastry Cook to prepare and present a variety of baked goods, cakes, and desserts in line with our standards. This role supports daily pastry production for our outlets and helps with seasonal product development.

You will maintain hygiene and consistency, follow standard recipes, and assist the Head Chef with taste testing and new items, while coordinating with the bar/kitchen team for special event dessert plating.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of bakery/ cafe experience.
• Solid baking techniques and pastry fundamentals.
• Strong attention to taste, texture, and presentation.
• Able to work independently or in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistency in portioning, taste, presentation, and texture.
• Maintain high quality and visual appeal of pastry products.
• Follow standard recipes and presentation instructions precisely.
• Assist Head Chef in testing and developing new or seasonal desserts.
• Provide feedback on recipes during trials and execution.
• Keep pastry area clean, organized, and compliant with food safety standards.
• Follow hygiene protocols including labeling, storing, and rotating products (FIFO).
• Coordinate with bar/kitchen for dessert plating or event preparation.
• Monitor usage and stock levels of pastry ingredients.
